To adjust tool for various fittings: set latch to position A for splice caps and lugs. Set latch to position B for larger caps.

To terminate wires with lugs

1. Strip wires approximately 5/16 in.
2. Slip lug on wire with latch set to position A
3. Insert into tool with flat side of lug in up position so tongue enters slot in latch and crimp

To splice wires when using splice caps

1. Strip wires approximately 3/4 in.
2. Insert wires through cap and twist
3. Insert into tool with latch set at appropriate position
4. Crimp, then cut flush
